DIRECTOR
JORDAN DAVIES
Jordan is an aspiring director and editor from Waterdown, Ontario. He is heavily influenced by Quentin Tarantino, Spike Jonze and Steven Spielberg. MARA is Jordan's first musical, and he could not be more excited to share the project with everyone.

PRODUCER
PATRICK RITCEY
Patrick spent much of his youth involved in the drama and theatre programs in highschool, giving him a huge passion for musicals. Being able to combine this with his passion for filmmaking is a massive honour for him.

EDITOR
JENNA POTHIER
Jenna is a third year student in the Honours Bachelor of Film & Television program at Sheridan, specializing in editing and writing. She grew up always having an interest in storytelling, from writing short stories to creating music videos and sketches for fun. Diving straight into college after high school, Jenna has gone on to use these skills to edit TV skits, short films and write screenplays, including “Age Rewind”, which won two for two categories at the Sheridan Screen Arts Awards. Jenna hopes to further continue on in her film career creating more empowering and uplifting content.

SOUND MIXER & EDITOR
TAYLOR WICE
Taylor has been involved in the film world for almost 3 years now and has loved every second of it. Sound design and music have always been a primary interest for him, and he is highly anticipating getting the chance to combine these two interests. With a background in musical theatre and a love for horror movies, Taylor is very excited to get the chance to work on Mara.

MUSIC COMPOSER & LYRICIST
JACOB BRETT
Jacob Brett is an up and coming composer and performing musician looking to make a mark for himself in the field. He loves all forms of art and tries to combine music with as many other mediums as possible. He strives to create new and original peices of music and relishes in the challenge of meshing his music with theatre and film.

WRITER
BECCA CLAPPERTON
Becca Clapperton is a 22-year-old screenwriter with a background in theatre and English literature. From an early age she has loved musicals and is wildly excited by the chance to create her own. It is her goal to pull inspiration from various movements in art and literature to create a screenplay in the musical genre that is truly unique.

CINEMATOGRAPHER
RACHEL SWITZER
Rachel Switzer is a cinematographer currently in her 3rd Year at Sheridan College. She is passionate about camera and lighting, having been making films since a young age. Rachel always strives to explore new and different methods on every project and hopes to one day be an inspiration to other female cinematographers.

FIRST AC
ABIGAIL CHAN
Abigail was born and raised in the Philippines until she came to Canada at age 9. She didn’t know what she wanted to be when she grew up, and switched future careers several times over the next 11 years. From wannabe astronaut to filmmaker, she now lives in Mississauga and pursues an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Film & Television at Sheridan College. Film has allowed her to express herself, and it makes her happy, sad, laugh, and cry. It constantly makes her rethink how she views the world, and for that she is grateful.

GAFFER
ALYSHA PERSAUD
Alysha Persaud is a member of the relatively new program at Sheridan College called Honours Bachelor of Film & Television. This program has given her the unique opportunity to learn about the process of making films and how to be successful in the industry. Through her diligent hands on work on multiple productions. She has come to a full understanding of the filming process. Alysha has a very strong interest in the art of lighting and making images beautiful.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
ISAIAH FRANCIS SEPIDOZA
Born and raised in Mississauga, Isaiah passionately enjoys filmmaking because he sees it as an opportunity learn new things about people and the world. Musicals have always been a genre he loves to watch, and looks forward to help with the production of MARA.
